I was thinking about the Oscars; it seems (to me) to be more about politics and less about who deserves the award.
An actor with this type of affiliation is worth more, and the people who make up the selection processes are made up of people in the industry. So some one who is/like Tom Cruise and is/was affiliated with a specific studio, kind of earn more money for that specific studio and also themselves.
I don’t know, is there an awarding system for actors/movies/entertainers that are made up of people outside of the actual industry the are in? MTV awards was/is(?) based on fans choice, but who picks the top 5 or however many? Do Fans decide? or is their another awarding systems like this?
And even though this is a way for MTV to promote themselves, or their specific Ideas isn’t this type of award; who are made up of the people who actually enjoy the content for personal reasons more valuable than the other awards that are given for promotional reasons?
I was just thinking.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BLOOD FLAVORED MILKSHAKES!!!
you guys are my heroes.
